About this project
The task of this interior project was simple yet not without the challenges. The new building has a pipe leak and damaged the ceiling on the first floor. Leaving nasty brown stains in a few spots. On top of it, we have time restraints to complete this project which adds an extra layer of complexity.
And here is why: priming over water stains like that one so it would be completely ''hidden'' under a new coat of ceiling paint may not be a straightforward task. In my experience, you never know how it will turn out. The same primer that worked on similar stains wouldn't work on the other. It may take several coats, and a few hours in between that could turn a simple project into a few days of a nightmare. luckily after a few attempts and oil base primer, all stains have been covered and will not bleed through a new coat of paint.
